Threads of the Pattern

About TotP

Threads of the Pattern is a personal blog written, edited and maintained by Ayshia and Rose.

Ayshia is a stay at home mom of 4 awesome kids one husband and a growing menagerie of animals, living in a farmhouse built in the 1800’s and dealing with a healthy addiction to crafting in all forms. A novice of everything (mistress of none), she enjoys sharing her experiences in crafting and life with equal portions of sarcasm and joy. She spends much of her free time finding new and interesting things to do and learn, and then sharing them with her Crafting Partner in Crime, Rose and now you, the World.

Rose is recently married, and spends her days playing caretaker to her husband and cat, with whom she enjoys playing video and board games. As often as she can, she runs off to the woods to play dress up with the Society for Creative Anachronism, where she enjoys being a married noblewoman in 13th century Mongolia. She is the Minister of Arts and Sciences for her local chapter, which basically gives her free reign to walk up to anyone making anything and ask them what they’re doing. This is something she was doing anyway.  She has yet to find a thing she hasn’t thought she could make.
